Serving the young children of Radius Church and their families.
Ages 3 months - 4 years
How we do Ministry.
Preschool Ministries provides quality care and love for your child(ren) during weekly services and other events.
We provide safe and gentle care while taking the opportunity to “teach” your child(ren), through association and feelings -and- stories and crafts, the lasting relationship of Christ and His love for them.
-
When your child is ill.
We miss your kids when they are not there, but per church policy, Preschool Ministries cannot accept children who have:
not been fever free (99.8 or less) for at least 24 hours without the aid of medication
a cough or runny nose (clear is okay)
sneezing due to a cold.
a rash *
diarrhea or vomiting
red, watery eyes *
parasitic (i.e. head lice) or fungal (i.e. ringworm) infection
*Children with symptoms/conditions caused by a non-contagious ailment maybe exempted if child has been cleared by a medical doctor. Doctor’s note required.

Staff and volunteers.
Our staff consists of paid workers and volunteers. Every room is staffed by at least two of these individuals (one of whom is a paid staff member). As well as passing a rigorous background and reference checks, all staff must have a positive relationship with Christ. In addition, paid staff hold current First Aid, AED and CPR certifications.
-
Health and safety.
Your child’s health and safety is a priority!
Only adults who have passed a rigorous background check and completed necessary training may enter a classroom or activity area when children are present.
Rooms and toys are thoroughly cleaned on a weekly basis.
Toys and equipment are age appropriate, in good working order, and not subject to any recall.
In an emergency situation, our safety plan calls for PSM staff to escort children to the northwest side of the playground for parental pick-up (as long as it is safe to do so).
Children in adult services.
If you wish to take your child to an adult service, sitting near an exit will allow you to leave easily should your child become restless or unhappy.
In addition, a “Mother’s Room” is available for mother’s who are nursing or have small children in their care. The live service can be watched via room television.
