Our Story

THE BEGINNING…

of our story dates back to 1919, when Humble, Texas was an oil boom, western town.  Members of local churches gathered in different homes for prayer meetings.  Their goal was to have a greater experience with God.

Over the last century, much has changed for Humble, now a city with a population 15 times greater than in 1919, and with that change Radius Church, formally known as Humble First, has progressed.  That small group of praying people formed a church that is still growing today. This growth has necessitated relocation and church builds (with plans for future growth and building projects).

RADIUS CHURCH TODAY…

The mission statement is to reach a 25 mile radius for Christ. We accomplish this by offering contemporary, Biblically-driven worship services, excellent childcare, exciting children’s and student ministries, and dynamic adult ministries.  We also offer numerous outreaches, including street and prison ministries, local and worldwide mission efforts, and more.

As a PROUD Assemblies of God church, God is at work.  We want the church to be exciting; a place where the focus is simple and people are free to go after God with passion!
